Our firm was retained to select materials and navigate the city’s permitting channels for the placement of landscape planters on adjacent city-owned sidewalks of The Beresford, a majestic landmarked apartment building on the corner of Central Park West and West 81st Street. A challenging task given the urban conditions, sidewalk infrastructure and regulatory requirements.

Ultimately, the placement of six ornate cast stone planters were accepted. Today, the planters blend perfectly with their surroundings, providing seasonally rotating splashes of color while defining and enhancing The Beresford.
