Working in collaboration with Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects to rehabilitate this overburdened historic cemetery located in lower Manhattan, the scope of site improvements included upgrades to walking paths and seating areas, new paving at the chapel entrances and landings and new irrigation system throughout cemetery.

Landscape improvements include extensive soil remediation and tree canopy pruning to improve growing conditions for the establishment of new lawns, Slope stabilization with groundcover plantings where light and slope conditions preclude turf establishment. Evergreen shrubs to screen utilities, storage areas and structures and flowering shrubs to enhance visitors experience throughout the seasons.
